Thrift Store Retail Manager
We are recruiting a Thrift Store – Retail Manager to join our growing Non-Profit organization, driven by feminist values.
The Thrift Store Manager reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for the leadership, operations, Scheduling, and community coordination with donors for the long-term sustainability of the Kamloops and District Elizabeth Fry Society (KDEFS) Thrift Store as a social enterprise. This role balances revenue generation with social impact, ensuring the store operates as a safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed space for customers, donors, staff, volunteers, and community members many of whom may be experiencing vulnerability. The Manager also provides referrals and resources to vulnerable clients seeking additional community supports. The Manager plays a key role in advancing KDEFS’s mandate by integrating dignity, respect, and equity into all store practices while maintaining and providing strong retail and business performance.
