About Kamloops EFry Women's Educational Bursary

The Kamloops Elizabeth Fry Women’s Educational Bursary was created to support women who are ready to take the next step toward building a stronger, more independent future. This program is donation dependent. To become an annual donor, please contact us.

This bursary provides financial assistance to women aged 18 and older who are facing financial barriers and are pursuing education or training as a pathway to economic independence and self-sufficiency. Through this support, we aim to empower women not only practically, but emotionally — fostering growth, confidence, and a sense of possibility.

The bursary is available to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who will be attending a recognized Canadian college, trades school, or university. Any field of study will be considered, with the goal of obtaining a certificate, diploma, or degree. Current or past clients of the Kamloops Elizabeth Fry Society are especially encouraged to apply.

Applications are accepted each year from February to March. Once applications open, the full application package will be available for download on our website. In the meantime, we encourage you to follow us on social media to be the first to know when the next application period begins.
